Hello ladies! How have you been? I am back with a review of a face pack which I brought during my initial days of face masks addiction. My experience with the product:

Packaging: The face pack comes in a neat tube with a sturdy flip flop cap. The tube is pale yellow coloured and travel friendly. Being a squeeze tube, the packaging is also hygienic.

Texture: It looks exactly like multani mitti but with a smoother creamy, texture. It spreads very easily and can be applied with fingers/brush.

Color & Fragrance: The face pack is also pale yellow colored just like the tube. The smell can be described as a mix of medicinal herbs smell. The smell doesn’t bother me as it lasts only till the face pack is on the face. Once washed off, the smell also vanishes.

Performance: This is an average performing face pack; nothing special or miraculous about it. It removes the excess oil from the face and gives a smoothness after washing it off. Needs to be used regularly and consistently (2 – 3 times a week) for it to show any results such as clarifying the face.

My Thoughts: Personally, this face pack did not do much good for me. This product alone cannot work on pimple, acne, blemishes. This can be used in addition to your regular skin care routine. There are a lot of better performing face packs/masks available in the market. Infact, my personal opinion is that a DIY multani mitti face pack with Tea Tree essential oil added will actually work better than this face pack.

The only advantage this face pack has when compared to multani mitti is its non drying texture. This pack doesn’t dry out the skin like other face packs meant to treat blemished skin. It is light on the skin and can be used by people of all skin types.

Truth Vs. Claims:

Claims Truth
Regular use helps to prevent pimples, acne, blemishes and spots Partially true. Regular use helps with new pimples and acne, but not on existing blemishes
Clarifies facial complexion No. Regular & consistent usage helps with clarification but doesn’t totally work on facial complexion
Enhances facial brightness No

My likes about the product:

  • Contains ingredients which are good for the skin
  • Packaging
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Doesn’t stretch or dry out the skin

My dislikes about the product:

  • Needs to be used consistently and religiously for it to start showing results
  • Price is little high compared to the results it delivers
  • Parabens present in the ingredients list

My Rating: 2.5/5

Do I recommend this? No. But if you are a lazy person reluctant to do a DIY multani mitti face pack and don’t mind the parabens in the ingredients list,  you can try this.

Will I repurchase this? Nope.

In a nutshell: An average performing, lazy girl’s face pack which suits all skin types. Skip this and try a DIY multani mitti or other gentle clays mixed wit tea tree essential oil.
